Amphenol Commercial SAS/PCIe 4.0 (U2 & U3) Connectors

Amphenol Commercial SAS/PCIe® 4.0 (U2 and U3) Connectors feature 16GT/s (PCIe lanes) or 24Gb/s (SAS lanes) speeds to meet the demands of next-generation servers. These connectors support up to four-port 16GT/s PCle-based devices and both SAS and SATA drives. Amphenol SAS/PCIe 4.0 Connectors offer staggered contact lengths and stamped clips that provide sequential contact mating for hot plugging and additional mechanical strength after soldering. The series has a durability rating of 500 mating cycles. Ideal applications are storage serves, mezzanine cards, and external storage systems.

Receptacles are intermateable with unshielded dual-port SFF8680 (SAS 3.0/SAS 4.0) connectors
SAS/PCIe connectors enable SFF8630, SFF8680, and SFF8432 interfaces
Backward compatible with 12Gb/s, 6Gb/s SAS, SATA, and 3Gb/s SFF8482 connectors
Supports up to 4 port 16GT/s PCIe based devices

Supports both SAS and SATA drives
Staggered contact lengths offers sequential contact mating for hot plugging
Stamped clips act as connector retainers for robust PCB attachment
